Filmmaker Nuno Barbosa pulls out the most visually striking Music Video. He uses the projection mapping technique for Emmy Curl’s latest single, Come Closer.
The whole video is one shot. No cuts. The director shoots multiple choreographed performances of the Portuguese singer-writer. Barbosa shoots front and side images of Curl, then again, under a special UV light, while she is covered with luminous paint. Finally, he projects those shots on her, and she performs her choreography one last time with slight changes and delays. The final result is a must-see. Words cannot express what was meticulously done.

"We want to show the imperfections and fragility of reality. The final result has an analogue feel that would have been impossible to achieve in a post-production environment." says Barbosa.
